President Muhammadu Buhari has said only those with integrity and interest of Nigeria at heart will make his next cabinet. Buhari stated this on Saturday during a victory dinner organised for the All Progressives Congress Women and Youth Campaign Council at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The President also promised to appoint more women and youths during his second tenure, praising them for the roles they played in his re-election for a second term on February 23.
He said his administration would not disappoint them. Buhari said, “I very much appreciate your coming here tonight. I am congratulating us for succeeding. If we had failed, my good God! Thank goodness we have succeeded.
“We have heard your call; more women and youths will be included in our new cabinet. Persons of integrity will not be denied appointment.” The President spoke on the gains of the agricultural reform policy of his administration, saying more fertilizer would be made available to Nigerian farmers at a lower rate.
Buhari also called on Nigerian youths to embrace agriculture to ensure food sufficiency and food export. The President again hit the Peoples Democratic Party, blaming the 16 years that the party previously ruled the country for the difficult times Nigerians faced presently.
